Rotary Club of Gongabu Marks 10th Installation Ceremony withFellowship, Service, and New Leadership

The Rotary Club of Gongabu celebrated its 10th Installation Ceremony on 17th August 2025 at Sky Restro and Banquets in a grand gathering of Rotarians, Rotaractors, families,
and friends. The program was honored by District Governor Elect Rtn. Vishnu Bahadur Karki as Chief Guest, alongside Assistant Governors, District Officials, and Club Presidents
from across the district.
The evening commenced with a warm welcome from President-Elect Rtn. Binod Karki, followed by a graceful welcome dance that set the tone for the celebration. A key moment
of the event was the formal installation of Rtn. Raja Ram Phuyal as President for the Rotary Year 2025-26, along with his enthusiastic and dynamic Board of Directors.
Outgoing President Rtn. Hareram Lamichhane expressed heartfelt appreciation to his 2024-25 Board, recognizing their tireless efforts by presenting certificates of appreciation for
their dedicated service.Adding to the evening’s significance, three new members were inducted into the Rotary family by Assistant Governor Rtn. Uraj Nakarmi, reaffirming the
club’s commitment to growth and service.
Reflecting the Rotary motto “Service Above Self”, the club extended meaningful contributions of Rs. 5,000 each—one to a cancer survivor and another to District DEI Chair Rtn.
Kalpana Piya Shrestha to support a women’s empowerment initiative.The ceremony concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks by Past President Rtn. Mahesh Kumar Basnet, who
acknowledged the presence and encouragement of all attendees. The event embodied Rotary’s enduring spirit of unity, service, and fellowship, offering inspiration for a purposeful
and impactful year ahead.
